For French guests: UK weddings often have a midday ceremony, a drinks reception, a seated “wedding breakfast” (meal) with speeches before dessert, then an evening party. Compared with France, timings usually start and finish earlier; there is no separate “vin d’honneur / dîner” — the party follows the meal.
We recommend the Premier Inn in Greasby as it is the closest to the reception venue. Alternatively, for even better value, the Travelodge in New Brighton is good and closer to the church.
Ample on-street parking available.
20 minute drive from the church. Ample parking available on site.
Our wedding ceremony will be celebrated in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite, also known as the Traditional Latin Mass or Tridentine Mass. This beautiful and ancient form of worship has been celebrated for centuries and holds a special place in our hearts.
The Extraordinary Form differs from the more commonly celebrated Ordinary Form (Novus Ordo) in several ways:
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be warmly appreciated.
We're planning a special trip to celebrate the start of our married life together, and your generosity would help make it truly unforgettable.
